Market Samurai vs Keyword Elite 2

Keyword Elite 2.0 is coming soon and if it has really got the essense of the original Keyword Elite than I believe you are in for a new era in keyword research. In no way is this a hyped up, lie to your face review...instead my goal is to inform you of both the good qualities and even let you know where each of these keyword tool softwares are lacking. Buy it when you're ready and only if you need it.

Below is a side by side comparison (incomplete at the moment: 8-20-09) of KE2 vs MS (beta)

Apart from the original Keyword Elite there hasn't been too many top competitors that pose as multifunctional keyword research tool and really nail the intent of the user. I can see a trend in these keyword suggestion tools. The trend is to be everything to the end user.This means that keyword researchers will be able to enjoy one program will encompass all of their most important affiliate and internet marketing ventures. Some, like Market Samurai, can be labeled as an SEO toolkit and others are a monstrous multifunctional keyword research tool.

The creators of these softwares are realizing that people dont want to have 5 different programs to do a handful of important tasks. We want a central control panel where we can find everything we need, like competitors statistics, other data, rankings, costs, and tons of other useful decision making data that will enable us to be a better business person.

Right now, there are a handful of useful internet marketing keyword research tools on the market. Market Samurai in my opinion is among the top competitors, if not the best, for the best keyword research tools around today. Not only can you research keywords but you also have an interface that allows SEO analysis. You can analyze your competitors and even decide if it's worth competing for a keyword at all.

Market Samurai is not yet a year old and is still in beta but has quickly become a market leader. With constant updates, fixes and improvements, it's hard to ignore the power that this software unleashes. Not only is it a keyword research tool but it is also a host of other tools all wrapped up into one software program made to deliver the best bang for you buck as well as consolidate all of your research tasks and other related duties all into one bundle of joy. Market Samurai is the Swiss Army Knife of keyword research tools, but how does it compare to Keyword Elite 2?

As of this writing, KE2 is not yet on the market and I will be reviewing and comparing the functions on KE2 via the pdf that Brad Callen has produced for his readers. This comparison is only for you to perform due diligence on which software you think is best. Since no one has had the chance to review the actual product that is due to launch August 25th at 12:00 noon...which is about 6 days from now, we can only compare a fully functional version when it's out.

But no one is going to make you buy anything you don't want or even need...you can always use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Its free and it although it only uses Google as it's database, what else would you expect. Anyway, since Google owns 75% of the search market, it's a wise choice to use Google as your base too.

Google Adwords Keyword Tool has it's disadvantages too...it's limited. A paid software is what you'll need if you want to take the next step in your research.

Monetization
This is where you would find the products and services to promote using your keywords. This function seraches Clickbank, Amazon and Ebay.

Publish Content
Being an SEO tool kit, it has to have a publishing module. Now you can write and publish your content directly in Market Samurai for the web, your site and more.

Rank Tracker
Keep tabs on all of your domains and urls. This function allows you to track your progress and even pull up a progress graph. You can use Google, Yahoo and Bing with this function. You can even track your position using broad match and phrase match.

Seo Competition
This makes your competition analysis easy for the first 10 results on Google Search. It will give you a matrix of important information you need to analyze the competition enabling you to decide weather or not to tackle a keyword.

Find Content
The Find Content function searches articles, blogs, video, pictures, news and misc directories for keyword related content for you to use on your site. It will give you the PR, Age, and the number of links pointing to the articles it finds.

Promotion
Backlinks are very important these days and Market Samurai has a built in function that lets you probe the web for keyword related websites that allow you to post your link. This function alone sells as a stand alone software elsewhere on the web for $47 and up. MS puts it into its mix of modules.

Adwords
The description reads "Use Pay Per Click Advertizing Strategies to Attract Site Visitors" However this module is still in the works. I can only imagine what they'll put inside this monetization module. It should be no less than great.

Please Note: This review is written before the actual KE2 software product launch and is only a review of the functions as written by Brad Callen's publicly available pre-sales pdf called the Keyword Minute that acts as a conduit and a buzz creator for the upcoming launch of Keyword Elite version 2. This preview is meant to only to illuminate and inform you of KE2's functions...this is not meant to persuade you to purchase anything or trick you into anything. Keyword Elite v2 - Main Functions

Keyword Surge
This is just a fancy way of saying keyword research. On this section of KeywordElite2, you'll be able to input your "seed" keyword and also choose which search engines you want to use. This incluedes Ask.com, Google Keyword Suggestion Tool,Word Tracker Free Keywords, and it also lets you search meta tags. You will also have the option of setting a parameter for search results...in other words, "How many do you want?"

The Results?

You'll have the option to filter each of the column headers to be tailored to fit your needs a an internet marketer/affiliate marketer. At this point you'll be able to insert "quotes" and or [brackets] for the respective phrase and exact matches. You can also export your keywords to a .txt file or even import a set of keywords from a text file.

Market Research Sleuth
This is where you would send your keywords, from within Keyword Elite 2, to be scrutinized against your set of standards. You will find competitive analysis information via how many other people are paying for this term and how much they're paying for it. The idea behind this is to judge how viable a market is by knowing the price behind the click as well as the people trying to make money off it.

Adwords Time Machine
This historical data keeper for adwords lets you view the past 6 months of history on any adwords advertiser. You can see how long an Adwords advertiser was bidding on a particular keyword, view their ads and even the exact web page they use in conjunction with their advertizements. That's not all, you can even see their keyword history. Now, if you can't figure out how to use this information, you should go back to Adwords 101 and brush up.

JV Diamond Miner
The Joint Venture Diamond Miner is way for you to find other websites, using KE2, that you may want to put some type of advertizing on their subscription page. This function will also return the Google page rank and the Alexa rank of each website so you can make a well informed decision on wether or not to contact the website owner based on the statics you find. This is helpful especially to those who like to contact every website owner asking for link exchanges and ad space.

CPA Magnet
This module lets you find products that fit your keyword description. CPA has gained momentum over the years and Brad Callen is taking advantage of this oppotunity to give you what you want. CPA is the least understood of all the ways to make money however as more people are becoming more familiar with it and educating themselves on the subject, the more products we will be seeing with CPA modules inside.

This is a simple way of finding products in what seems to be over 11 different CPA networks. If there are more networks that KE2 is using, we'll find out later when it comes out.
